    CrossFit workouts are constantly changed so your body is always receiving new stimulus and you never get bored. Gone are the days of going to the gym and repeating the same 8-12 rep workout with the same number of sets and exercises. Why would you expect different results from something you have done 100 times? CrossFit workouts use different rep schemes, time domains and disciplines to constantly challenge you.

    High Intensity

    Intensity is the best gauge to achieving your fitness goals. A five-minute workout at high intensity is far more beneficial to your fitness than 45 minutes on the elliptical, treadmill or other machine.

    Functional Movements

    When you pick up anything off of the floor, whether a suitcase or a bag of groceries, it is essentially a deadlift. CrossFit trains you in functional movements, allowing your body to efficiently perform life tasks. Functional movements can be classified in three categories: gymnastics (pull-ups, push-ups, bodyweight movements); metabolic conditioning (running, jumping rope, rowing); and weightlifting (clean and jerk, snatch, deadlift, etc.). All of these movements are essential to over-all fitness.
